The Johns Hopkins Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory (CVDL) is a state-of-the-art imaging facility performing over 24000 diagnostic and interventional procedures annually. We treat the following conditions:

• Congenital heart defects
• Coronary artery disease
• Cardiomyopathy
• Heart failure
• Peripheral vascular disease
• Valvular heart disease

The CVDL operates eleven (11) procedure rooms. There are general areas within the CVDL:

• Cardiology
• Radiology
• Electrophysiology

We are currently searching for a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist to join our elite team. As a Cardiovascular Rad Tech you will:

• perform invasive procedures
• coordinate care
• participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology
• AA degree preferred
• No direct cardiology experience required
• New grads encouraged to apply
• Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Tech
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• CVRT I: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required within 1 year from the end of orientation date. Advanced certification is encouraged. Must pass JHH Arrhythmia Course and Exam before recording independently
• CVRT II: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required. CI or CV registry is encouraged in Electrophysiology RCES registry and HRS certification is encouraged. Current PALS
• Certification is required if in pediatric cardiology. Must pass the JHH Arrhythmia Recognition exam annually.

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift

7:00am 5:30pm

10 hour shifts

On-Call and Weekend work is required

Salary Range: Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
