Im working with a very progressive and forward-thinking accountancy practice that has consistently increased its market share in recent times based on the quality of its service. Due to client demand they are looking to add to their high-performing team at either the Semi Senior or Senior level.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Work with a varied portfolio of sole traders partnerships and limited companies.
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns.
- Prepare management accounts and perform bookkeeping duties.
- Complete VAT returns and liaise with HMRC.
- Handle client queries and provide support with digital accounting software.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who:
- Are AAT qualified or at a similar level.
- Have a strong technical background in a practice environment.
- Possess excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Are eager to continue their professional development (ongoing studies can be fully supported).
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:
- Collaborating with clients to ensure their financial needs are met.
- Preparing accurate and timely financial reports.
- Supporting clients with their transition to and use of digital accounting software.
- Resolving queries and providing expert advice on tax and accounting matters.
- Working closely with a supportive and dynamic team to deliver exceptional service.
