Signia by Hilton Orlando is looking for a Senior Employment and HR Generalist to join their HR Team supporting the Signia by Hilton Orlando and Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

Signia by Hilton Orlando boasts 1009 bedrooms and suites and Waldorf Astoria Orlando boasts 501 deluxe rooms and suites. Our 4 team members report to the Complex Director of Human Resources.

The ideal candidate holds 2 years in a Human Resources role within hospitality. Passion for hospitality.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM (weekends and evenings as needed)

Pay Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour (final offer based on experience)

What will I be doing

A Senior Employment and HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing the Complexs recruitment efforts as well as assisting the HR Team in the overall duties and administration of the Human Resources function. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manages daily Recruitment activities to include but not limited to managing requisitions liaising with Hiring Managers maintaining the Job Openings list and Employment Log coordinating new hire dates ensuring all interview notes are saved processing Team Member transfers and promotions and that all new hires receive a welcoming and smooth transition into the Complex.
  • Assist in the management of various team member relations programs activities and initiatives to include but not limited to holiday functions health fairs award banquets and special events.
  • Assist in ensuring the HR data management system is maintained to include but not limited to entry of team member data recording employment transitions (i.e. hire separation etc.) and generating reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action Plan and EqualEmployment Opportunity guidelines and regulations.
