Position Responsibilities:

Learn and understand machinery safety aspects settings and functions
Learn the different types of tapes and how to convert them on the appropriate machinery
Convert tape from raw materials per work order
Learn how to change the core box and adjust machine settings to run different types of tapes
Assist with packaging labeling boxing and palletizing tape from the production line as needed
Be familiar with and utilize tape overruns and tape seconds; assist in maintaining stock
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Coordinate and work effectively with team members
Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Troubleshoot issues that may arise with raw materials or machinery
Thread the machine and select the correct machine settings
Choose and load the correct tape jumbo and cores (raw materials)

Education and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and write in English
Two or more years of relevant work experience
Ability to use a computer
Forklift qualified
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong attention to safety detail and accuracy
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is advantageous

Hours:

Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Training schedule: 1:00 PM 9:00 PM

Pay:

$15.00 $16.00 per hour
