GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides executive assistance and support to the General Counsel on a wide variety of current issues related to the operation of Sheriffs Department. Performs related work and duties as required.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Reports directly to the General Counsel.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Staff as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assumes responsibility for all projects assigned by the General Counsel including the development of work plans and timetables for the design coordination and supervision of activities within the Sheriffs Department.
2. Researches correctional issues and prepares reports as directed by General Counsel.
6. Flexibility and ability to learn and perform new duties and skills as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ability to supervise and manage employees and various tasks as assigned.
2. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Bachelors Degree with major in public policy or government required.
