Industrial Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist Downingtown PA
Step into a shift where your expertise keeps production moving. At 3:00 pm you review work orders walk the line for a safety check and bring equipment online using company lockout/tagout and startup procedures aligned with OSHA. Throughout the evening you apply deep knowledge of electrical theory the NEC and material properties to diagnose issues keep systems running and plan improvements.
A day on the 3:00 pm 11:00 pm shift
- Energize and de-energize machinery by following company procedures consistent with OSHA requirements.
- Use meters and other test instruments to isolate faults in wiring switches motors and related electrical equipment.
- Service electronic assemblies by testing and replacing components circuits and printed circuit boards.
- Measure cut thread pull and install electrical conduit; install conduits transformers pull boxes and switches.
- Service and repair starters motors and a range of electrical apparatus.
- Fabricate parts not commercially available using common machine and hand tools.
- Make running adjustments execute repairs and overhauls as needed and determine corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls motor control centers (MCCs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Design electrical control circuits and install wiring; install and repair electrical equipment.
- Identify materials and equipment for projects; read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Production Supervisors/Managers to align priorities and resources.
- Assist with training and skill development for maintenance teammates and production operators.
- Maintain proficiency to the jobs standard and document your work clearly.
- Respond to plant emergencies and keep required certifications/training current.
- Provide leadership that reinforces all safety programs and safe work practices.
Compensation & Schedule
- Starting pay rate: $34.35/hour
- Shift: 3:00 pm 11:00 pm
- Location: Downingtown PA

What you bring
- 5 years of journey-level industrial maintenance experience (installing maintaining and repairing industrial equipment).
- Ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals written in English.
- Skilled at reading blueprints/schematics and diagnosing root causes of equipment failures.
- Knowledge of low- and high-voltage electrical systems and fundamental wiring practices.
- Experience performing precision equipment alignments.
- Working knowledge of fabrication installation and maintenance of production and support equipment (e.g. arc welders oxy-acetylene torches saws drills grinders pumps engines).
- Ability to satisfactorily meet testing/training requirements.
