Job Summary

Due to restrictions on the number of certificates we can issue at present candidates without an existing visa or right to work in the UK are unlikely to be suitable for the advertised post.

As Keane Premier Support Services North Lanarkshire continues to grow we are expanding our team in the Wishaw area specifically in the ML2 Area which has good public transport links and are looking for compassionate reliable Support Workers to join us.

We are developing our services in this area to support up to 10 individuals to live in their own homes provided by Keane Premier. Teams will be built around each person providing 24-hour support which may include 1:1 or 2:1 support depending on individual needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and developing service from the outset helping to shape high-quality person-centred support that promotes independence dignity and wellbeing.

This role is primarily based within the Wishaw service (ML2 area); however in line with operational requirements you may be required to work across other Keane Premier Support Services locations within North Lanarkshire or at another reasonable place of work.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support service users in all aspects of personal care.
  • Support service users with medication where required.
  • Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs.
  • Carry out household duties.
  • Assist service users with finances as per company policy.
  • Ensure service users have access to healthcare if required.
  • Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote their wellbeing.
  • Encourage the relationships service users have with family friends and wider community.
  • At all times be mindful of equality and diversity and behave in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly.
  • Report a service users progress on the correct platforms.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving License

You do not need to have any experience; we are just looking for individuals who have a real passion for enhancing the experiences of our service users helping them to live an independent life.
