Are you ready to shape the future of aerospace withcutting-edgetechnology Join our Rotary Wing Platform Systems Team within the Military Avionics & Helos group at Collins Aerospace. Here you will play a crucial role in developing and testing avionics forSpecial Operations Army (SOA) Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) programs. This dynamic position offers flexibility to push the boundaries of technology enhancing the capabilities ofMH-60M and MH-47G role requires a highly motivated personto help lead the charge for theSOA CAASprograms.

The selected candidate must be onsite in Cedar Rapids IA for test events and test environment updates.

What You Will Do:

• You will perform design requirements validation & verificationtasksforMH-60M and MH-47Gcockpit avionics for theSOA CAASprograms.
• You willperformPlatformSystems specificon-site execution of requirements-based testing robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
• You will support cross-functional team development with both external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teamsfordifferent CAASbuilds.
• You will have the potential opportunity to see your work in action byassistingin flight test events at customer facilities.
• You will perform your tasksusingvarious engineering toolsincludingTNT DOORS JIRA PREP Microsoft SVN and others.
• You willperforminvestigations ofthe Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environment; including integration investigationsof the interfaces for Collin Aerospace equipment and governmentfurnishedequipment in the lab.
• 10% domestic and global travel as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Ability to obtain aUS Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance.
• Experience (military or civilaircraft) in avionics systems specifically testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Collins Aerospaces Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) experience.
• Avionics experience.
• Working knowledge / understanding of data busses and protocols (Ethernet MIL-STD-1553B and ARINC-429)
• Experience with TNT DOORS PREPJIRAand/orMicrosoft Office Suite is desired.
• Organizational skills including associated documentation.
• Research test requirements and prepare test plans and procedures.

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
