Event Bartender Duties: Qualifications: - Must be 20 years and 1 day of age
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be Serv-Safe or T.I.P.S certified
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual Energetic motivated and works well with team members
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills and ability to follow directions
- Be willing to work until the job is complete and perform other duties assigned
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
- Be able to reach bend and safely lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds and move up to 100 pounds with assistance
Additional Guidelines & Expectations: - Serve all guests promptly
- Notify a Manager or Event Captain if bar lines develop and assistance is required
- Never consume a beverage in front of a guest
- Do not leave the bar unattended or without permission of The Captain
- Check proper identification for all guests requesting alcohol
- Refuse service to any guest that has consumed too much alcohol
- Cleanliness of bar and service areas
- You are responsible for the cleanliness of your bar and bar areas before during and after the event. This includes what guests see as well as what they may not see. Wipe down shelves before restocking glassware. Soak guns wipe down bar counters bar walls bar front ice bins cabinet fronts any area where drinks may have spilled. You are responsible for breaking down all drink stations including the coffee station and taking out your garbage. Replace garbage bag and wash out can when needed then put can back in your room.
- Inventory:
- You are responsible for your starting and ending inventory sheets and writing in any items added to your bar during the event. You must count the kegs and check bag-in-the box products before and after your event. You must remove all empty kegs and keep the beer cooler organized. Please do not open more wine bottles than needed. Anticipate your guest count and open a few bottles to get started then as needed throughout the night.
