The City of Winkler is looking for energetic and positive people to join our seasonal facilities maintenance team!
What Youll Do:
This term position will be involved in groundskeeping at City Hall the Library Bethel Heritage Park and the PW Enns Concert Hall. Grounds keeping includes mowing trimming weeding gardening sweeping watering plants and trees some light maintenance etc. Some custodial duties will also be required including the washrooms at Bethel Park.

- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Must be safety conscious especially for working around the public.
- Youll be able to interact positively with the public at all times.
- Ability to communicate well with your supervisor and coworkers in all situations.
- An eye to see when a job is done fully and a drive to do quality work.
- Ability to do physical work outside in various weather conditions.
- Youll be willing to learn and grow in your role!
Qualifications Youll Need:
- A valid Manitoba drivers license.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools especially grass/weed trimmers.
- Experience operating light equipment is an asset.
- Must have approved safety boots.
- A criminal record check may be required.
Work Period:
- April or May - September 2026.
- Approximately 30-40 hours per week.
- Some weekends will be required.
