What Youll Be Doing

Youll manage a team at the heart of CIBCs digital transformation successfully delivering complex enterprise-scale projects. As a Senior Manager- Application Development (GenAI) you will join CIBCs Alternate Solutions Group within theCapital Markets Technology Team where you will lead a high performing team of development specialists delivering innovative products and services. This role will manage a team of developers utilizing SDLC delivery methodologies. Youll work closely on ChatBot specific projects within ASG to ensure appropriate delivery of products and services ensuring adherence to standards through test driven development and code reviews.

How Youll Succeed

• Understanding Requirements Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Work with clients and internal partners to determine negotiate and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
• People Leadership Lead and coach a high performing team of individuals. Direct motivate and develop your team maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.
• Relationship Management Work closely with business partners to develop test and implement application program. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements.

Who You Are

• You can demonstrate experience: as a hands-on Senior Development Manager leading a team building Innovative solutions utilizing cutting edge technologies. Ideally you are adept at Design Solutioning and have at least 8 years experience with Java Python LLM AI/ML NLP SQL/No SQL DB and come equipped with 3 years of experience with Generative AI/LLM. Its an asset if you have strong knowledge of cloud technologies Digital and banking knowledge.
• You have a degree/diploma inComputer Science Computer Engineering and/or a related field.
