Marketing Manager Player Engagement

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to supports the development of the product vision and strategy by helping to grow our player base and deepen our relationships with our players. Part of the broader Player Development & Engagement team this role serves as a subject matter expert across one of the various core marketing disciplines:

Growth Marketing New player acquisitions and lapsed player reengagement through various external marketing channels Player Engagement Player monitoring and management customer lifecycle strategy promotion ideation Marketing Operations Campaign execution comms channel optimization automation development Marketing Enablement Marketing technology optimization and development new mar-tech onboarding

Working with Senior Marketing Managers and various cross-functional stakeholders the Marketing Manager evaluates opportunities identifies solutions and delivers marketing initiatives that responsibly drive revenue growth and outstanding customer experience. This role supports the development of strategies within their core marketing discipline and ensures initiatives align with overall business priorities and division goals.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Sr Director Player Development & Engagement and working with peers focused on the Player Engagement discipline you will be empowered to:

  • Enable player lifecycle engagement strategies with specific promotions and initiatives ranging from onboarding to win back that deepen player engagement drive retention and grow value across player segments for iCasino and iSports

  • Ideate and refine promotions offers and engagement initiatives that drive responsible player growth and improved player experiences

  • Develop clear actionable campaign briefs outlining objectives targeting creative requirements and offer details for the Marketing Operations team to execute

  • Analyze campaign results to identify optimization opportunities and learnings to continue to write the player engagement playbook and best practices

  • Facilitate the creation and continued optimization of player segment strategies and eligibility rules that support personalized relevant and timely engagement across channels

  • Partner with Analytics to evaluate campaign and lifecycle program performance uncover insights and optimize future engagements

  • Prioritize the automated lifecycle journeys and trigger communications to be developed; review and optimize the efficacy of these automated communications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME

Education & Experience:

  • Deep knowledge of marketing strategies tactics and channel opportunities for relevant domains/products

  • Solid knowledge of industry trends user demands and pain points to be able to develop marketing strategy

  • Comfortable with technology/IT to be able to leverage tools to drive new promotional opportunities.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (3-5 years) work experience.

  • Experience in Agile Development with Product Owner (or similar) experience is an asset

  • Experience with digital marketing via direct to consumer channels (media email CRM owned assets social etc.)

  • Minimum three (3) years in marketing experience with a focus on direct to consumer marketing

Relevant Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs to tell a compelling story

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a multi-disciplined environment including technology new product development product design promotion merchandising advertising public relations and market research.

  • Strong problem solver with ability to find solutions to drive progress often with a high level of ambiguity
