Job Summary

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to deliver first class customer service.

  • Maintain a safe work environment.

  • Make sure daily distribution assignments are carried out in a timely manner.

  • Make sure work area is clean and manageable.

  • Manage transportation standards.

  • Supervise the daily activities of assigned departments.

  • Supervise the auditing of all transactions inbound and outbound depending on the department.

  • Supervise traffic coordinator/dispatcher

  • Manage all fleet equipment/assets; coordinate with maintenance team

Personnel:

  • Coach guide and develop employees/drivers and hold them accountable for performance.

  • Performance Reviews

  • Issue disciplinary warnings

Staffing:

  • Train evaluate and develop employees.

  • Manage the departmental attendance/punch detail records.

  • Treat employees fairly to help employee morale.

  • Make recommendations for proper scheduling and shifting

  • Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to your team.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree preferred or relevant work experience

  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience preferably in distribution and/or chemical industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Self-starter who has the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
