Job Summary

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for monitoring and ensuring all inland and overseas shipments for MCPE units arrive on time and updated into warehouses in an effective timely manner. Troubleshoot transport delays and resolve issues quickly to keep containers moving throughout the supply chain. The incumbent is also responsible for Inventory and Freight Reconciliations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for Vessel Log / ETA file enter shipment information including model colour quantity factory destination carrier container number ETD and ETA. Update as required when delivery changes occur and email to distribution list on a weekly basis

  • Monitor lead time performance by factory and warehouse.

  • Coordinate Vessel Processing trigger flow of goods through Finance system and send transmission to OPS and K&N which allows receiving of units into stock

    • Investigate and resolve any errors or issues by engaging with IT S&PP and/or Factory

  • Responsible for GE Ship Orders including manual order entry is required for models ordered from factories that do not transmit manifest data to CH

  • Provide updated ETA information and reason for delay (if applicable)

  • Provide pipeline report to distribution list on key target dates within the month.

  • Assist with global bid nominations by providing feedback to Honda Motor.

  • Responsible for monthly book to book inventory reconciliation.

  • Resolve discrepancies with assistance from OPS K&N SSG and/or other departments. Make system corrections when necessary or advise warehouse on appropriate action to be taken.

  • Ensure FIFO (first in first out) method is being properly employed by warehouse.

  • Responsible for Annual Physical Count conducted at an agreed upon date with Sales Finance and warehouses. The warehouses shut down for 1 day to physically count all MCPE units within the warehouse typically a 4-month project. Results are provided and reviewed by Finance prior to audit.

  • Prepare Risk Management Report update which is sent to Corporate Governance team.

  • Assist with customer service/support resolve issues and assist the Sales Group

  • Manually update stock as requested stock transfer flagging and unflagging of units

  • Expedite container arrival as requested to support sales targets

  • Assist OPSCS and K&N with warehouse issues and investigate possible solutions to improve efficiency.

  • Monitor warehouse key performance indicators (KPI).

  • Monitor accuracy and completion of invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College/ University Degree in the related field preferred

  • 2 years of experience in related field preferred

  • Must entail strong PC Skill including Excel PowerPoint and Word.

  • Must entail strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills ability to build collaborative working relationships with internal and external affiliates.

  • Must have excellent telephone manners and customer service skills.

  • Must entail exceptional research diagnostic and analytical capabilities.

  • Strong ability to prioritize various conflicting demands and tight deadlines.

  • Must be autonomous as well as able to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to display initiative integrity and strong attention to detail.

  • Bilingual is a definite asset.

  • Strong organizational analytical and PC Skills (Excel)

HIRING PRACTICES

The salary range for this position is $72921$91151 CAD annually. Individual salaries within this range aredeterminedby a variety of job-related factors including education experience knowledge and skill set.

This is an on-site with occasional work-from-home position that requires employees to work on-site four days per week with the opportunity to work-from-home one day per week(with a dedicated workspace at the assigned company office).
