Collins Aerospace is hiring a Senior Lab Assistant who works under minimal supervision. This candidate will perform hands-on technical work with engineering products. This role confers with Engineers and Lab Technicians on details and specifications to build modify and inspect a wide range of products.

What You Will Do:

• Works under minimal supervision to provide technical building support to engineers and technicians on a variety of tasks.
• Performs moderately complex hands-on technical tasks that contribute to the completion of engineering projects and products.
• Works on circuit boards completing repairs component insertion and replacement and even inspection.
• Familiar with soldering techniques both lead and lead-free.
• Build cables and terminations for a wide variety of circuity types.
• Understands the engineering inspection and quality process and follows quality procedures.
• Reads prints drawings and schematics as needed to assist in the building process.
• Documents change and inspection results as required for a wide variety of products.
• Uses hand tools scopes soldering stations and other devices with skill and precision.
• Demonstrates successful soft skills - communication attitude leadership and professionalism.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Previous or current experience with building and inspecting.

The salary range for this role is 43400 USD - 82600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
