Legal Assistant Pre-LitigationWe are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant (minimum 12 years) to provide essential support to our pre-litigation department. This role focuses on assisting with pre-suit matters including probate-related tasks document drafting court filings contract coordination and ongoing client relations throughout the pre-litigation process.
The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. While prior experience in personal injury law is a plus it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with pre-litigation matters including probate-related cases
- Draft legal documents correspondence and probate pleadings
- Prepare and file court documents in compliance with local and state probate regulations
- Manage and maintain organized case files and documentation
- Assist with sending and tracking contracts and legal correspondence
- Communicate professionally with clients witnesses medical providers and expert consultants
- Support the pre-suit manager who leads the intake and pre-litigation process
- Assist with cases in jurisdictions outside of Arkansas with training provided on state-specific procedures
Qualifications:- Minimum of 12 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks efficiently
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a pre-litigation team
We are willing to train on jurisdiction-specific procedures for candidates who demonstrate strong foundational skills professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
