Job Title: Interventionist
Reports to: Campus Principal
Location: In-Person CASLV School Campus Las Vegas NV; Henderson NV
Position Type: Full-Time 10-Month
Position Summary:
The Interventionist is responsible for providing targeted academic support and interventions to students who are performing below grade level. This role supports classroom teachers and works closely with school leadership to analyze data design intervention plans and ensure that students receive the assistance they need to achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide small groups and one-on-one instructional support to students in need of academic intervention.
- Use data from assessments and teacher input to identify students in need of support and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement intervention plans and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff.
- Support the implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies across multiple grade levels.
- Participate in regular data meetings to review student performance and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Use evidence-based instructional practices and strategies aligned with the schools academic framework.
- Assist in test preparation and support students during benchmark and state assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in education or a related field preferred
- Teaching license preferred
- Previous experience working with students in an intervention or instructional support role.
- Strong understanding of data-driven instruction and progress monitoring.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students staff and families.
- Excellent organizational communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to student success and educational equity.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This role operates in a school setting and requires in-person interaction with students and staff. The position requires the ability to work with students in classroom and small group settings. Must be able to sit stand walk and occasionally lift instructional materials or equipment.
