Interim Cybersecurity Program Lead (Zero Trust / OT Security)
Location: U.S. (Hybrid Travel to Manufacturing Sites)
Duration: Interim / Contract (multi-phase program)
Overview
A global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Interim Cybersecurity Leader to drive a Zero Trust implementation across five U.S. manufacturing sites supporting a high-growth consumer product line. This role will lead the security strategy and execution across IT/OT environments partnering closely with plant operations engineering and global cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure secure resilient production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end Zero Trust program for U.S. manufacturing sites securing the IT/OT boundary
Own program planning governance and execution across multiple locations including cutover coordination
Partner with site leadership engineering and global teams to align security policies with operational needs
Oversee network segmentation and security controls leveraging Palo Alto and mGuard
Drive risk reduction initiatives to protect manufacturing uptime and prevent disruption from cyber threats (e.g. ransomware)
Manage vendors escalate issues and ensure consistent delivery across all sites
Required Qualifications
Senior cybersecurity leadership experience (Interim CISO Cybersecurity Program Lead or similar)
Strong background in manufacturing/OT security and enterprise network transformation
Hands-on understanding of Zero Trust architecture and segmentation
Expertise with Palo Alto Networks (NGFW Panorama/centralized policy management preferred)
Experience securing OT environments using solutions such as mGuard
Excellent stakeholder management vendor oversight and executive communication skills
Travel / Schedule
Hybrid flexibility with required travel to manufacturing sites during key deployment and cutover windows
Collaboration with global teams may require off-hours availability
