Your purpose
Hosting andguest experience
Actas the Host / Maître d for the House serving as the first and lastingimpression for members and guests delivering a warm confident andprofessional welcome at all times.
Curateand maintain the overall atmosphere of the House ensuring lighting musiclayout and flow complement the time of day and guest profile.
Ownthe guest journey from arrival to departure proactively managing bookingsseating and special requests to ensure an exceptional experience.
Buildstrong rapport with members and guests recognising preferences and encouragingrepeat visits through personalised service.
EnsureSevenRooms reservations and membership systems are consistently updated andinformed of guest preferences special occasions and service notes to anticipateneeds personalise experiences and deliver a cohesive elevated guest journey.
Leaddetailed pre-service and daily briefings aligning teams on guest personalityinsights engagement approach recognition standards and member preferences.
Activelyencourage and respond to guest feedback using insights to enhance servicestandards and the overall hosting experience.
Handleall guest enquiries feedback and special requests with professionalismdiscretion and efficiency resolving issues confidently and escalating whereappropriate.
Leadership andoperations
Deputise for theHouse 21 and Bars Manager in their absence taking full responsibility for theoperation team leadership and service delivery.
Support the House21 and Bars Manager in maintaining and evolving exceptional service standardsensuring all Standard Operating Procedures are followed consistently.
Lead by exampleon the floor maintaining visibility during service and supporting the team todeliver seamless high-quality service.
Ensure all areasare correctly closed and secured at the end of service and that any faultyequipment machinery or service-ware is reported and actioned promptly.
Commercialawareness
Maintain in-depthknowledge of facilities room rates promotions and operating hours across bothHouses to confidently identify and drive cross-selling opportunities.
Positivelyapproach sales opportunities guiding guests through menus with expertknowledge to maximise revenue.
Ensure all salestransactions are processed accurately and in line with company procedures.
Teammanagement
Supportthe House 21 and Bars Manager with the day-to-day leadership of the teamensuring clear communication and consistent standards.
Trainand mentor new team members on Standard Operating Procedures hosting standardsand service expectations.
Promotea culture of professionalism respect and collaboration maintaining excellentcolleague relations.
Assistwith recruitment onboarding and retention of high-calibre team members.
Supportteam development through regular feedback and quarterly appraisals viaOpenBlend in partnership with the House 21 Manager and Bars Manager
Liaisewith Human Resources regarding employee relations matters ensuring compliancewith company policies and employment legislation.
Budget control
Assistthe House 21 and Bars Manager with the management of our people systems such asFourth and ensure rotas are kept up to date according to business levels.
Assistwith financial reporting including the accurate administration of Microsforecasting and sales opportunities.
