Job Summary

Canyonlands By Night & Day in Moab UT is looking for a part-time tour guide to join our crew. We are a seasonal business located at 1861 N. Hwy 191. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated punctual and engaging with a love of the outdoors surrounding Moab.

Responsibilities

Step-on buses to give groups information about the geology botany and history of the area while having fun and being safe.
Host aboard our evening Sound and Light boat - engage guests as the boat works its way upriver pointing out unique features in the canyon walls and telling stories.
This position is part-time; assisting in other roles throughout the business may be available to give you more hours.

Qualifications

Must be a people person and have great interaction skills.
Must be willing to learn and take safety courses to uphold our standards.
Must have a willing smile and excellent interpersonal skills
Be able to hike and walk up to 3 miles.
Experience with large groups and educational skills are a plus.
Availability one to three nights per week to host the Sound and Light boat.

Hourly wage based on experience gratuities.
