What you will do
The purpose of the Global RovingEmergencyEducation Specialistposition is technical development ofEducation strategicdirectionand quality assurance. The position is responsible for developing Educationstrategy and quality controlat country level. This includes mentoringtrainingand capacity buildingstaff to build their technical expertise in Education programming.
The main purpose of theGlobal RovingEmergencyEducation Specialistposition is but not limited to:
Support country officestart-up.
Support first phaseeducationresponse in existing countryoffices.
Gap fillingif a critical gap exists.
Providing in-country support with the design reachingresults andcapacitydevelopment components of education programming.
TheGlobal RovingEmergencyEducation Specialistwill undertake short-term deployments up to 6 months to different NRC country deployments will be to crisis and postholder mayalso fill the role asEducation Programme Development Manager (Education PDM)at country office level.

Education technical expertise with experience in development and implementation of policy/strategic guidance and practical tools andresources.

What we offer
Duty station: Global Roving.
Fixed term contract: 24 months.
Travel: Up to 75%.
Salary/benefits: Grade 9 on NRCs grading structure.
