Job Summary

Requirements:

Essential Functions

Perform routine preventative maintenance such as change oil check batteries and lubricate equipment and machinery.
Assist mechanics with repairs.
Follow procedures to fuel and park CDL required vehicles. Drive fuel and park on company property only.
Repair and/or install tires.
Maintain a safe working environment place unused tools and equipment in designated areas.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

High degrees of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as a team member within the scope of established rules and regulations.
Ability to drive in a safe competent manner a vehicle that is 27 feet to 42 feet in length on company property only.
Ability to determine the type of tool and equipment needed to do a job.
Ability to watch gauges dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Must have basic math skills.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Mechanical background helpful.

Other Requirements

Must pass pre-employment MVR/background check and substance abuse testing.
Valid FL Drivers License with acceptable driving record for the past three years.
Must supply own hand tools and toolboxes.
