Configuration Manager

This Configuration Manager (CM) supports the customers Computer Forensic Laboratory and is responsible for coordinating with Procurement Management to order and renew all laboratory software/hardware maintaining and managing laboratory software licensing troubleshooting software/hardware issues preparing equipment for trial support software validation coordinating with other Directorates creating forensic workstation builds and inventory and asset management.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
• Secret clearance required
• Experience with desk-side IT support
• Experience supporting variety of IT technologies to include installing software and hardware (Workstations Laptops Mobile devices etc.)
• Self-motivated and proactive able to work independently with minimal supervision identify opportunities and develop new ideas
• Spec new hardware and software as needed for baseline requirements and maintain software/hardware configurations
• Able to plan and prioritize team workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time
• Experience working in a professional security environment balancing multiple tasks and prioritizing as required
• Team Player Ability to contribute to a much larger team ensuring Mission Critical Facilities issues and customer requests are met in a timely fashion
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with senior executive government staff

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8570 IAT Level II Certification or equivalent
