Job Summary
The Principal Solutions Architect for our NVIDIA Allianceacts as the primary technical liaison between NetApp and NVIDIA aligning product and solution engineering resources and priorities across both organizations. This role is pivotal in driving co-innovation ensuring both companies technical agendas are synchronized and maximizing the value of joint solutions for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal point of contact between NetApp and NVIDIA technical teams building trust through clear and reliable communication
- Take the lead on helping NVIDIAs technical teams understand NetApps core technologies and competitive differentiation
- Lead and attend all technical meetings between the companies ensuring comprehensive coverage and follow-up
- Synthesize NVIDIAs roadmap and plans into actionable insights for NetApps cross-functional technical teams including SEs SAs TMEs PTLs and others
- Communicate outcomes of technical meetings to a broader set of stakeholders
- Understand and communicate the impact of NVIDIAs technical decisions and roadmaps to the appropriate NetApp stakeholders
- Help NetApp Product and Solution Engineering leaders understand the implications of strategies and decisions to our joint offerings and GTM
- Keep NetApps technical teams updated on NVIDIA innovations (e.g. GPU servers networking software tools) and their potential impact
- Support the NVIDIA Senior Alliance Director by providing a consolidated view of all technical engagements
- Build two-way feedback loops with field technical communities to prioritize innovations and identify gaps
- Develop and deliver technical content (blogs technical papers internal newsletters) to educate customers partners and internal teams on integration strategies and plans
- Lead technical sessions at industry events customer briefings and partner engagements
Education and Experience
- 15 years in technical alliance management product engineering or solutions architecture within the B2B tech industry
- 8 years of relevant people management experience including direct oversight of individual contributors and people managers preferred
- Deep understanding of AI GPU technologies networking and enterprise storage solutions
- Exceptional executive communication and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex technical information for diverse audiences including senior executives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale technical projects
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with or within NVIDIA andNetApp ecosystems is highly preferred
- Familiarity with co-innovation programs and joint go-to-market strategies preferred
- Prior experience developing technical content for internal and external audiences desired
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 220150 - 327800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidates location qualifications experience and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards reflecting a variety of factors and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance Life Insurance Retirement or Pension Plans Paid Time Off various Leave options Performance-Based Incentives employee stock purchase plan and/or restricted stocks (RSUs) with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws regulations and company policies.
