Job Description:
Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing test operations including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts components subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Essential Functions:
- Test and debug MD products
- Maintain efficient unit processing in order to meet customer demand
- Coordinate with Assemblers and Planning
- Mechanical and Technical aptitude
- Electrical testing including use of testing tools i.e voltmeter OHM meter
- Proficient in multiple ERP/MRP/PLM
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint
- Dependability Flexibility
- Teamwork Independent work
- Effective Communication
- Ability to obtain US Government clearance
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Fully proficient support individual contributor.
- Works under limited supervision.
- May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise.
- Fine Soldering
