We are seeking certified professional Group Exercise Instructors to provide structured fitness programming at Dover Air Force Base under a federal services contract.
This is not a typical gym environment.
You will be instructing active-duty military members and Department of Defense personnel in a structured high-accountability setting.

Position Overview
Instructors will deliver scheduled group fitness classes including:
- Indoor Cycling
- Low/High Impact Aerobics
- Strength Conditioning
- Kickboxing
- Yoga
- Pilates
- Extreme Fitness Programming
Classes operate between .
Minimum 28 classes per month (shared among instructor team).
Required Certifications (Mandatory)
Candidates must hold current certification from one of the following:
- American Council on Exercise (ACE)
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)
- International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA)
- Cooper Institute
(or other Air Force-approved certification bodies)
AND
- Current CPR certification through:
- American Heart Association
- American Red Cross
Certifications must be active and verifiable.
Security Requirements
- Must pass Criminal Background Investigation (CBI)
- Must be eligible for base access
- Must comply with military installation conduct standards
- Professional attire required (non-provocative fitness-appropriate)
