Job Summary

ACLC is looking for an experienced Compatibility and Interoperability (C&I) Testing and Certification Analyst with technical expertise supporting a DoD clients Tactical Data Link (TDL) standards conformance and interoperability testing. Testing and Certification Analyst will provide support to service-level and Joint testing activities coordinating with program offices and analyzing test data to validate interoperability and standards compliance.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support during all phases of Air Force service-level multi-TDL platform system and net-centric services C&I testing.
  • Support Joint interoperability testing and certification activities as required.
  • Identify TDL capabilities and functions requiring testing for assigned USAF systems and assist system points of contact with MIL-STD compliance and certification processes.
  • Coordinate test scheduling through the PTUC and track assigned systems certification status.
  • Attend Technical Interchange Meetings Test Plan Working Groups Integrated Test Team meetings and Design Reviews to support TDL implementation discussions.
  • Assist in preparing certification documentation including RFCI Surveys AFSIT Waiver Requests AFPTU Tasking Letters and MIL-STD Compliance letters.
  • Liaise with System Program Offices throughout standards conformance and interoperability testing activities.
  • Review test plans procedures scripts ISPs NR-KPPs and configuration documentation and provide technical feedback.
  • Observe C&I certification testing and assist in documenting observed issues.
  • Analyze test data to validate preliminary trouble reports and assess operational impact in preparation for meetings.
  • Participate in meetings to support technical evaluations and certification decisions.
  • Support development and integration of TDL capabilities into Air Force platforms and services.
  • Review ISPs posted in JASM to verify correct MIL-STD references prior to testing.
  • Research and develop background papers staff studies talking papers and presentation materials as directed by the Government.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates degree in a technical field (engineering computer science information technology or related discipline).
  • Experience (one of the following):

Minimum of 3 years of recent staff experience supporting interoperability testing or certification activities or Minimum of 3 years of recent experience managing or supporting Air Force service-level Multi-TDL interoperability tests.

  • At least 34 years of experience applying Multi-TDL standards including MIL-STD-040 188-220 and .
  • Experience reviewing test plans and test reports related to C&I certification testing.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to technical detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Security Clearance: Applicant must be a US Citizen and able to obtain the required security clearance for the position.

Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility including but not limited to bending reaching and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work walking moderate to long distance may be required. Lifting to 40 lbs.
