Seeking a Sr. Key Account Executive with a focus in Wine and Spirits to manage and execute all sales strategy initiatives with major large format retail chains. The position will work from the Bellevue Corporate office. Experience in the alcohol and non-alcoholic beverage industry is highly desired but not mandatory. Retail sales experience is required. This position serves as the lead role in owning and identifying opportunities initiating joint business planning strategy setting goals to be measured overseeing the flawless execution at store level communicating the results to the retail business partner.

Annual Salary: $90000 - $110000 DOE

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Sr. Key Account Executives main priorities are executing our business strategy and initiatives with assigned national and/or regional retail account buyers selling at key inflection points along each retailers selling cycle to drive measurable results.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving results through best-in-class sales execution resulting in measurable goal attainment through Net New Distribution Price Ad/Display Promotion and MPOD
  • Managing various administrative needs of each retailer.
  • Working with and being proficient in syndicated data sources such as Neilsen / IRI.
  • Develop Ad/Display Request presentations along the retailers specific promotional cadence that are influential and impactful to each retailers business strategy highlighting relevant Brand/SKU data to increase our ad/display frequency.
  • Communicate relevant information to the sales team such as weekly ad features autoship programs pricing changes ROT reports Add/Delete results from assortment cycles distribution gap reports post promotional analysis etc. for alignment with each warehouse entity and supplier network to optimize store level execution.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers and Brand Management Teams to stay up to date on relevant innovations programming branding / product updates discontinuations etc.
  • Continue self-education of distributor products within various commodities with a focus on Wine and Spirits.
  • Developing productive and mutually beneficial business relationships with assigned National and Regional account buyers further enhancing credibility while developing trust as their preferred distributor advisor.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 3-5 years of Trade Development experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have valid drivers license good driving record proof of auto insurance (SR-22 is not acceptable) and own means of reliable transportation.
  • Prefer beverage sales experience knowledge of local market customer service skills and experience in the distribution industry.
  • Strong understanding of both distributor and retail operations to ensure supply chain efficiency through timely delivery reduction of out of stocks ensuring proper pricing in both systems calculating retailer on hand and managing quantity buying patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must have strong presentation and negotiation skills.

  • This position will be performed in Bellevue WA at the corporate office.
