Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.

• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.

• Perform a variety of job site tests record test data and interpret test results.

• Sample and test Cement Concrete and other surfacing materials.

• Sample and perform aggregate tests such as sieve analysis sand equivalent and moisture content.

• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt concrete surfacing and earthwork.

• Write and receive tickets for measurements of materials.

Youll thrive here if you

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook)

• Valid Drivers License and an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and navigate uneven construction sites.

• Ability to obtain WAQTC and ACI Certification for in-place density and concrete field testing within 3 months of hire.

• Knowledge of materials testing and construction practices.

• Ability to travel for Western Washington per diem projects.

• Flexibility to adjust work schedule to coincide with contractor activities including the ability to travel as needed work nights weekends holidays and perform emergency callouts/standby.

• Compensation: $24 - $32 hourly rate
  The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the states law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
