Job Summary

An Office Civil Field Engineer is responsible for bridging on-site operations with office-based project management ensuring construction or technical projects run smoothly safely and efficiently. They handle planning coordination and technical support both in the field and in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Coordination
  • Prepare detailed work plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors vendors and project managers to align tasks.
  • Quality & Safety Oversight
  • Assure quality control standards are met.
  • Address and resolve safety issues on-site.
  • Cost & Resource Management
  • Track and manage costs materials and equipment usage.
  • Ensure projects stay within budget and deadlines.
  • Technical Support
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting inspections and repairs.
  • Collaborate with architects engineers and clients to ensure designs are executed correctly.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain logs of daily activities progress reports and compliance records.
  • Communicate updates between field teams and office management.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge in engineering and construction practices.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments often under challenging conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to liaise between teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Attention to detail for quality assurance and safety compliance.

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Mechanical Electrical or Construction Engineering.
  • Internship or prior experience in construction or technical projects.
  • Certifications in safety or project management are often preferred.

Work Environment

Office Field Engineers split time between office-based planning and on-site supervision. They may work in construction manufacturing utilities or technology installation projects often requiring flexibility to adapt to different environments.

Salary: $70000.00 - $100000.00
