ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Assist customers in processing various transactions2. Reviews and verifies documents for accuracy and completeness3. Operates a computer to retrieve and record data4. Handles customer inquiries (in person and over the phone)5. Prepares forms6. Collects payments made by cash check credit card and ACH accounts7. Balances cash drawer and follows cash handling procedures8. Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies9. Required to work the late afternoon shift10. Answers the phone and directs calls accordingly11. Receives and processes mail12. Corresponds with other agencies and organizations13. Performs other duties as assigned by the managerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS1. Kentucky resident2. Able to be bonded3. Effective written and verbal communications skills4. Able to operate office equipment including computer (PC & KAVIS) printerfaxmachine copier scanner and multi-line phone5. Able to learn the laws regulations policies and procedures necessary toprocess motor vehicle transactions6. Ability to record and transfer data accurately in a timely manner7. Ability to process monetary transactions accurately8. High school education or equivalent9. Six months experience in customer service data entry and/or processingmonetary transactions10. An equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe work is customer service in nature with clerical and data entry responsibilities. It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech vision and hearing. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. The work at times requires bending squatting and reaching with the ability to lift carry push or pull weights up to 25 pounds.
