A Spray Tech Journeyman in the furniture industry is responsible for applying finishes to furniture pieces using spray guns and other equipment. This role requires a blend of technical skills and artistic ability to ensure high-quality finishes that meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain spray guns and finishing equipment.
Mix paints stains and lacquers to achieve desired colors and finishes.
Monitor the viscosity and flow of finishing materials for consistency.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with design teams to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a spray technician or similar role.
Knowledge of various finishing materials and techniques.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills.
This position typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent along with relevant certifications or training in spray finishing techniques.
