Job Summary
We are working closely with a school who are recruiting for a creative Teacher of Drama & English for a high-aiming secondary school in East Finchley. We are looking for a versatile teacher to join this at home community with a guaranteed maternity cover offered from April for the successful candidate.
About the Role This role allows you to bed in with your departments before taking on a longer-term commitment.
The Transition: Start February Half Term (4 days/week) to settle in. If successful a maternity cover will be offered from April (3 days/week).
Start Date: February Half Term 2026 (April start also an option for the right candidate).
Schedule: 4 days (Tue-Fri) until April; transitioning to 3 days per week thereafter.

Requirements
Proven ability to teach across two key departments (Drama and English).

Salary and Benefits Daily Rate: Paid based on experience and at the schools discretion.
