Looking to join a supportive and ambitious English department
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Bristol.
Our client is looking for a professional organised and inspiring teacher to join a successful 1118 mixed secondary school. The appointed English Teacher will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons promoting a love of reading and writing and supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes. This is a full-time permanent position starting as soon as possible.
The department is well established with clear curriculum planning shared resources and a collaborative team culture. Led by an approachable and supportive Head of Department this is a fantastic opportunity for an English Teacher who is passionate about excellent classroom practice and contributing to a positive experience for students and families. Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Commitment to high expectations inclusion and student progress
Effective communication and organisational skills
