Our cutting-edge laser marking machines ensures accuracy and we pride ourselves on providing high-quality safe and efficient steel solutions results for our clients. Due to continued growth we are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team based at Acacia Ridge.

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator at BridgeFAB your primary responsibility will be to assist in the efficient loading and unloading of semi-trailers. Experience with loading fabricated structural steel materials and purlins is preferred as it is essential to ensure that loads are packed effectively for delivery. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the set-out in the factory is organised and efficient to create ease for the team.

In addition to operating the forklift you will undertake various labouring duties around the factory including cleaning sweeping and moving equipment and steel. As such you must be able to lift up to 20kg.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a forklift (adaptalift) to load and unload semi-trailers with a focus on structural steel and purlin materials
Ensure materials are packed and set out efficiently for delivery and in the factory for optimal team workflow
Perform labouring duties around the factory including cleaning of steel plates sweeping and handling equipment
Lift materials and equipment up to within a manual handling requirement of up to 20kg as required
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and efficient factory processes

About You

Proven experience operating forklifts ideally adaptalift or combilift style with a preference for experience in loading fabricated steel and purlins.
Must have a current forklift licence
Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg safely following our manual handling procedures
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and high-quality standards.
Reliable transport to attend the workshop at Acacia Ridge
A positive attitude with a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility.
