Our mission

In 2016 our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldnt find this they decided to make their own. Now 10 years later our pack has over 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for

At Edgard & Cooper we like our numbers just as much as our dogs and cats: healthy well looked after and doing what theyre supposed to do.

Were looking for a Junior Financial Controller whos ready to take their first steps in controlling and make a real impact. Youll support our Finance Pack with clear reporting sharp insights and solid financial foundations that help keep our growing business on track.

Youll join a Finance Pack recognised as Best Finance Team 2024 in an environment where you can learn fast take ownership early on and build a strong foundation in controlling.

What is in your bowl

A big scoop of hands-on controlling learning on the job and increasing responsibility. Youll get to:

• Own overhead and expense reporting including monthly closings and budget follow-up.

• Support monthly warehousing and logistics closings gaining hands-on insight into our operations.

• Contribute to forecasting budgeting and cross-department discussions.

• Turn financial data into clear reports and insights for the business.

• Support the Finance Pack in managing P&L for developing markets.

What skills & tricks should you bring

• A Masters degree in Finance or a related field.

• Strong Excel skills and a love for structured accurate work.

• Comfort working in a fast-changing environment.

• Clear communication skills and confidence presenting numbers.

• Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus).

• A proactive mindset ownership mentality and team spirit.
