Role Overview:

We are hiring aCustomer Service Managerleadingan international customer service team (approx. 30-35 people) to ensure service delivery to clients in the chemical industry with a cost and service-minded approach. We are looking for an inspiringand experiencedleadercapable of driving transformationand standardisationacross teams and functions. This roleis responsible foroverseeing order to cash activities ensuring compliance with industry regulations and driving improvements to enhance customer experience. The ideal experienced candidate will have deep knowledge of supply chain and order to cash processes and the ability to work cross-functionally with differentinternal and externalstakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:

As aCustomer Service Manager you willbe responsible for:

  • Team Leadership:Managing coaching and developing Customer Service Team Leaders; ensuringagreedservice standards and achieving performance targets; being an active member of the European Supply Chain Leadership Team; creating and driving a clear customer service vision aligned with supply chain and business strategy.

  • Order Management:Overseeing and improving endtoend order processing across SAP systems; ensuring accuracytimelydelivery and consistent ways of working across the regionalorganization.Understandingourproducts productioncapabilities and route to market iskey.

  • Customer Relationship Management:Act as the primary escalation point for complex customer related issues ensuringtimelyresolution and customer satisfaction.Influencing commercialand marketbusiness modelsand how we interact with customersbyproactive initiatives based on the in-depth understanding and interpretation of customer and business expectations

  • Compliance & Documentation:Ensuring adherence to chemical industry regulations SOX ISO export/import requirements and company policies.

  • Process Improvement:Identifyingopportunities to streamline procedures adopt best practices and continually increase operational efficiency.

  • CrossFunctional Collaboration:Working closely with Sales S&OP Logistics Credit Process Improvement Production Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders toalignpriorities and resolve highimpact issues.

  • Reporting & Analysis:Monitoring KPIs and performance reports; providing datadriven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Experience and Competencies:

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelors or Mastersdegree preferably in business supply chain or a related field

  • Minimum10 years of experiencein Customer Service or Supply Chain management ideally in the chemical or manufacturing industry

  • Proven people leadership experience (leading largecomplexor multiteam structures)

  • Strong knowledge ofsupply chainordertocashprocessesandERP systems (SAP preferred)

  • Positive mindset

  • Excellent communication influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to prioritize manage change and work in a fastpaced environment

  • Familiarity with global trade regulations and chemical compliance (advantage)

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset

  • Customerand costcentric mindset

  • Strategic thinker with handson execution capability

  • Strong analytics and detail orientation

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Cando and empowering leadership mentality

  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
