Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Neonatology

Join a dedicated healthcare team at a renowned facility in Southfield Michigan seeking a fellowship-trained Neonatologist for in-house coverage 4-6 times a month. This position is at a Level 3 NICU offering a supportive environment with a team of experienced neonatologists. Your expertise will be valued as you provide care from 7 PM to 7 AM attending to the needs of neonates during critical hours.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide in-house coverage at a Level 3 NICU.
Attend C-sections as required.
Transfer neonates when necessary.
Manage an average daily caseload of 12 patients.
Document patient care using Cerner/Ecare/PowerChart EMR.
Collaborate with a team of neonatologists for optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

Fellowship-trained in Neonatology.
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatology.
Clean background check.
Availability to work 4-6 shifts per month.

License and Certification Requirements:

Current Michigan medical license (required).
BLS and NRP certifications.
Self-Query NPDB report (to be pulled within the month).
