Job Summary
Founded in 1984 Best Formulations LLC a diversified nutraceutical and personal care company headquartered in City of Industry California is a contract manufacturer of thousands of branded SKUs including high quality nutritional supplements including softgels tablets capsules powders teas dietary supplements and vegetarian softgels.
About the role:
As a Machine Operator Gummy you will be responsible to gather and weigh the necessary ingredients and materials and efficiently utilizes production equipment and executes standard process methods to produce quality products for the Gummy Production Department.
How will you contribute:
- Support and assist setup activities of the manufacturing process.
- Assist in the cooking dosing depositing and post-processing of bulk gummy products.
- Ensure all documentation including batch records logbooks and other official batch related documentation has been completed on-time and accurately.
- Feed and maintain raw ingredients into hoppers mix tanks or other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform pre-weighing batching curing and bulk packaging of manufactured product.
- Assist with the cleaning sanitation and housekeeping organization.
- Follows established department SOPs and cGMP regulations.
- Adhere to and comply with all Company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.
- Report any safety concerns to management.
- Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
- Perform other job duties related to the job as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate.
- Minimum 6-months experience in a fast-paced GMP/FDA regulated environment or relatable industry
- Any combination of experience education and training that provides the level of knowledge skills and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
Work Environment:
- Noise level for this work environment is typically low to moderate. Some work areas require hearing protection for an 8-hour work day.
- Required to stand walk and sit for extended periods of time during the course of work shift.
- Routinely required to stoop bend kneel lift reach pull push and tilt object in the performance of job function.
- Work environment may involve exposure to allergens such as Soy Wheat Fish Shell Fish Milk Egg Tree nuts and Sesame.
Schedule:This is an alternative work schedule.
Day shift 6:00 am-6:30 pm Night shift 6:00 pm-6:30 am

Alternating 4 x 10/2 & 3 x 10/2 | Alternating Workweeks of Four (4) and Three (3) 12-hour work days where ten (10) of the hours are paid at straight time and two (2) of the hours are paid at time-and-a-half |

This position is currently classified as on-site.
Base Hourly Range: $18.00 - $21.00 based on candidates professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance 401(k) Holidays Vacation Tuition Reimbursement Program.
The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including but not limited to location skills education and experience.
