Your role:

We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead THEKERs financial function during this critical growth phase.

Your mission will be to bring structure control downside risk and build financial discipline as the company scales while progressively evolving into a more strategic role focused on maximizing upside and long-term growth.

You will work directly with the founders on key business decisions financial planning and future funding strategy building the financial foundation required to scale globally.

What were looking for

We want someone with full ownership mindset comfortable operating in ambiguity and able to make decisions with imperfect information.

You should combine strong financial rigor with strategic thinking and be ready to take on increasing responsibility as the company grows.

• Degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or related field.
• Strong experience in controlling FP&A corporate finance or similar roles.
• Experience in high-growth or transformation environments.
• Ability to build financial models from scratch and drive decisions based on data.
• Hands-on mentality with high autonomy.
• Fluent English.
• Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate (100% on-site role).

Nice to have

• Experience in tech startups or deep-tech environments.
• Experience in fundraising processes investor relations or due diligence.
• Background in investment banking private equity or corporate development.
• Experience managing grants or public funding.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and build THEKERs financial function from the ground up.
• Own cash management burn rate runway and cost structure discipline.
• Develop financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare the company for due diligence and audit processes.
• Work alongside founders on future funding strategy and financial planning.
• Build and lead the finance team as the company scales.
• Implement systems and metrics that allow the company to grow with control and clarity.
