Job Summary

Position: IT Support Specialist Executive & AV Support (Crestron / Microsoft 365 / Teams)

Location: Chicago IL (Downtown Northbrook)

Schedule: On-site 5 days/week (7:00 7:30 AM start)

Duration: 12 Month Contract / Contract-to-Hire

Overview

  • We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide high-touch desktop and audio-visual (AV) support at a corporate headquarters environment.
  • This role delivers white-glove service to employees and senior executives with a strong emphasis on conference room technology and Crestron systems.
  • The position is fully on-site and supports a growing enterprise environment alongside a collaborative 11-person IT team.

Core Responsibilities

Executive & White-Glove Support

  • Provide in-person technical support to corporate staff and executives
  • Deliver high-level customer service and rapid issue resolution

Desktop Support

  • Support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Troubleshoot Lenovo laptops/desktops and Surface Hubs
  • Handle refresh builds break/fix support and ticket backlog management
  • Use ServiceNow for incident tracking and resolution

AV & Conference Room Technology (Primary Focus)

  • Manage and troubleshoot Crestron systems
  • Support Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom environments
  • Maintain conference room equipment including projectors screens wireless presentation tools and whiteboards
  • Ensure seamless meeting functionality and executive presentation readiness

Collaboration

  • Partner with team members and leadership to manage workload
  • Provide occasional field support as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 2 4 years of corporate IT support experience
  • Strong Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills
  • Hands-on experience supporting Crestron systems (required)
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms (required)
  • AV support experience in a corporate setting
  • Experience providing in-person executive support
  • ServiceNow or similar ticketing system experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work on-site daily in Chicago and Northbrook
