The Crane Inspection Supervisor will oversee and manage contractors conducting inspections of cranes and lifting equipment ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines. This role involves developing inspection schedules reviewing reports identifying defects and coordinating with maintenance teams to address issues.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage contractors conducting inspections of cranes and lifting equipment.
- Develop and implement inspection schedules protocols and checklists.
- Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of inspection reports.
- Identify document and report defects or issues with cranes and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure all inspection records are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to address identified issues and oversee the repair and maintenance process.
- Stay informed about industry regulations safety standards and technological advancements.
- Provide guidance and support to contractors.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
- Participate in internal and external audits and inspections as required.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Experience in crane inspection maintenance or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of crane operations safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and software.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized authority (e.g. NCCCO CICB).
