The Electrical Engineer 2 position involves assisting in the design and oversight of electrical power systems. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering design principles applicable codes and standards and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams. The engineer will contribute to the preparation of design documents provide technical direction and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in preparing and overseeing electrical power system design.
- Creating scope documents schedules and budgets.
- Developing single line diagrams elementary and wiring diagrams.
- Designing layouts and circuitry.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable codes standards and regulatory requirements.
- Providing technical direction to other engineers designers and drafters.
- Assisting in the checkout and startup of systems.
- Communicating effectively with other groups and disciplines.
- Assisting in preparing and overseeing electrical power system design.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Accredited bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
- 3-6 years of related experience.
- Good knowledge of engineering design principles.
- Experience providing technical direction in preparation of design details drawings and calculations.
- Experience scheduling and coordinating projects to meet cost and schedule objectives.
- High level of initiative and ability to effectively plan organize and execute work.
- Ability to handle design on large projects with limited supervision.
- Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff design engineering staff and/or vendors.
