Job Summary:
The Information Technology Specialist/Developer will focus on website updates to achieve WCAG 2 compliance for Arizona State Parks and Trails website. This role involves using a content management system (CMS) to address accessibility issues broken links and images identified through Acquia Optimize. The specialist will collaborate with the IT and Communications Research and Marketing teams as well as Tyler Technologies to ensure website functionality and accessibility standards are met. This is a hybrid position primarily remote with occasional in-office team meetings.
Location:Phoenix Arizona United States
Responsibilities:
- Use Acquia Optimize to identify and fix WCAG 2 A and AA issues broken links and images within the CMS.
- Implement updates within the CMS guided by feedback from the deputy assistant director.
- Compile and submit a list of fixes requiring Tyler Technologies attention to the assistant director of IT.
- Monitor the website for ongoing accessibility improvements and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with Tyler Technologies on website releases to resolve issues and verify functionality post-release.
