The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and support services to residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The CNA works under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to ensure residents receive safe compassionate and high-quality care.

Candidates must be flexible and able to work rotating shifts including all weekends.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding.

• Monitor and report changes in residents physical and emotional condition to the nursing team.

• Take and record vital signs accurately.

• Assist with mobility transfers and positioning of residents.

• Maintain a clean safe and organized patient environment.

• Support nursing staff with treatments and procedures as directed.

• Document care provided in the electronic medical record system (PointClick).

• Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.

• Current and active CNA certification in the State of Hawaii.

• Must be certified through Prometric Hawaii.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Long-Term Care setting.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Holiday pay will apply only if the scheduled shift begins on the recognized holiday.

• If a shift begins on the holiday the entire shift qualifies for holiday rate.

• If a shift begins prior to the holiday and ends on the holiday holiday rate will not apply.
