has a client located in Boston MA that is in need of a Fortinet Administrator.

Responsibilities:

Works independently and with approved vendors and other state agencies to resolve network-related issues
Creates and updates documentation related to current network architecture and new installations
Possesses functional knowledge of connecting public and private networks without compromising network stability
Demonstrates fundamental knowledge of PCI/PII requirements
Plans and implements future installations of network equipment and conducts capacity planning
Performs high-level analysis and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
Provides technical expertise direction and leadership to other team members
Conducts research and analysis on all requests related to problem resolution
Performs other related duties as requested by the supervisor
Travels between facilities to maintain and deploy networking equipment

Required Skills : * Holds Fortinet certifications (NSE FCF FCA FCP or FCSS) * Experience designing configuring and troubleshooting complex networks * Knowledge of key routing protocols (EIGRP OSPF RIP BGP) * Familiarity with VLANs VTP and STP * Experience with ACLs firewalls VPNs Wi-Fi enterprise wireless and related security technologies * Strong understanding of routers and switches * Experience with Metro-Ethernet technologies * Proficient with network monitoring and management tools * Experience with VoIP and QoS * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently or as part of a team * Adaptable to changing priorities emergencies or production needs * Basic understanding of statistical methods * Extensive experience creating and updating network Visio diagrams
