Job Summary:

The Risk Compliance Specialist is responsible for coordinating and performing risk assessments analyzing data to identify remediation strategies and interpreting policies and standards to advise management and executives. This role requires a strong understanding of internal control frameworks and technical concepts related to security and compliance.

Location:Toronto Ontario Canada

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and perform risk assessments against a wide variety of inputs.
- Analyze data from various sources to identify remediation of risks.
- Interpret policies legislation and standards to provide advice for management and executives.
- Translate requirements from standards into actionable implementations.
- Conduct gap analysis remediation control design and risk assessments.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- 7 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and control mappings.
- 7 years of experience with technical concepts: logical access control agile development process.
- 7 years of experience with expertise in gap analysis remediation control design and risk assessments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Public Sector Experience.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience with GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) tools.

Special Considerations:

- Must be able to work onsite 3 days a week.
