Assignment Type - This position is currently listed as Onsite working 7.25 hours per calendar day sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive unless otherwise identified.
MUST HAVES:
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder At least 2 years of experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge of SQL query languages (T-SQL PL-SQL) At least 4 years of experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge of DAX programming (At least 2 years of experience)
Description
Scope
- Provide planning assessment and development effort to complete the migration of approximately 270 operational reports from Courts legacy systems to new CDT solution.
- Work with Project Manager and Business Areas to evaluate and modernize reports where applicable.
- Migrate report functionality to Power BI Desktop or Power BI Report Builder based on Project Team assessment
- Work with project team to complete all relevant and required documentation such as knowledge transfer and communication to support the completion of the project
Assignment Deliverables
- Participate in reporting needs assessment to understand the functionality and design of the current operational reports in use
- Perform assessment and define approach in collaboration with project team and stakeholder to migrate operational reports to appropriate CDT solution standard reporting features or to a Power BI tool (i.e. Desktop or Report Builder)
- Perform design and development activities to migrate operational reports to Power BI in alignment with OPS Standards and Guidelines (i.e. AODA WCAG 2.0 Level AA)
- Perform troubleshooting and apply corrective actions to resolve issues with migrated reports and dashboards discovered during pre-release testing
- Work with project team to provide relevant and required documentation to support migration activities and knowledge transfer
- Participate in knowledge transfer activities
A Note on the VOR Master Service Agreement:
- The VOR Master Service Agreement expires on April 5 2027 and includes a six (6)-month survival clause allowing the Statement of Work (SOW) to continue if operationally required until October 5 2027. Extension(s) are only allowed using unused days and/or funds remaining on the contract. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value and any extension options included in the original SOW. JTS may exercise its option(s) to extend the SOW beyond April 5 2027 in accordance with the survival clause.
- The start date is subject to change based on security clearances and contract signing timelines.

- Experience / demonstrated ability writing DAX code perform data modelling and implement functionality within Power BI reports and dashboards (at least 2 years of experience)
- Experience working with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory Microsoft SSDT
Criteria 2: Analytical and Problem Solving Skills - 30 Points
- Experience / demonstrated ability to perform technical troubleshooting specifically within a business intelligence environment / team or against reports dashboards and database queries such as Transact SQL (T-SQL)
