Summary

The purpose of to maintain stage and perform shipping duties as need throughout our department while maintaining our standard of quality.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Moves materials from packed staging area to shipping and storage area.

• Returns empty pallets to packing area for reuse.

• Performs daily maintenance and inspection of forklift.

• Assist in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.

• Assist in combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space.

• Keeps assigned work area clean at all times.

• Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager.

• Must be able to operate a side loader.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)

• Preferred at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment as a material handler

• Preferred at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment as a mobile equipment operator

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for up to 12 hours per shift

• Good Computer Skills

• Ability to carry out detail written or oral instructions

Travel Requirements:

Travel required for this position is less than 5%.

At YKK AP America Inc. pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.53 -$20.93 depending on experience skills and qualifications.
