The team
The Occupational Therapist will work autonomously as part of the Haverhill Integrated Team in Adult Social Care which includes a Team Manager Senior Practitioner Social Workers and Independence and Wellbeing Practitioners. The role is responsible for delivering highquality Occupational Therapy interventions for adults within Haverhill and the surrounding villages.
The post operates within a shared building alongside NHS community therapy and nursing colleagues supporting a collaborative and integrated approach to service delivery.
Within the West locality the Occupational Therapy service is led by the OT West Lead and includes practitioners based in Newmarket Mildenhall Sudbury Haverhill Bury Town Bury Rural and the Flexible Care and Support Team. Ongoing clinical supervision for the role is provided by the OT West Lead with managerial supervision from the Haverhill Area Manager. The OT West Team also offers regular CPD opportunities and continuous professional support to promote excellence in practice.
